The Great Mongeham Society is hosting a talk by Stuart Bligh, Kent County Council’s Archives and Local History Services Manager, entitled ‘Exploring Kent’s Past’ at 7.30pm on Thursday 19th February in Great Mongeham Village Hall. He will be giving a visual presentation of archive material from the area.

 Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, Wednesday 23 July 2008
The Deal Society was indeed fortunate to have a beautiful warm evening for its Summer Supper on Wednesday 26th of July. Once again the venue was the Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club and 64 members of the Society went home after a very successful evening with excellent food, good wines and enjoyable company. Our thanks go to the Captain and all those who contributed to this popular event.

The Deal Society Committee invited officers of the Dover, Sandwich and Ramsgate Societies and the Chairman of the Kent Federation of Amenity Societies (KFAS) to meet with them on Tuesday 15 April at the newly decorated Deal Town Hall.
