Deal Society Committee meets with Dover, Sandwich and Ramsgate Societies |

 The Deal Society Committee invited officers of the Dover, Sandwich and Ramsgate Societies and the Chairman of the Kent Federation of Amenity Societies (KFAS) to meet with them on Tuesday 15 April at the newly decorated Deal Town Hall.
It provided an opportunity not only to meet each other but also to
discuss issues of common concern. These ranged from the Local
Development Framework to transportation and roads. It was generally
agreed that the area needed jobs first and then housing. In fact there
was a remarkable similarity in the concerns of the different societies
and that there could be opportunities where we could support each other
in promoting our goals and objectives.
